Pathway
Ruocco (2009) reported of sea water breaching the sea wall at Old Portsmouth.
Receptor and Consequence
This event was associated with flooding in Hayling Island and Southsea (Portsmouth), along with Newport, Ryde and Cowes in the Isle of Wight where some non-residential properties required pumping to remove flood water (Ruocco et al., 2011). There was also flooding in Langstone and Fareham.
