Receptor and Consequence
This event is listed as associated with flooding at coastal marshes in ‘Aldborough’ (Zong and Tooley, 2003). The location is ambiguous – Aldborough is inland (in the borough of Harrogate), whilst Aldbrough is a coastal village in East Riding, Yorkshire that is prone to erosion but lacks marshes. It is possible this is referring to Aldeburgh (Suffolk) which has coastal marshes and a history of flooding, and much later (in 2014) became a permanent salt marsh following a surge event (in 2013).
