Receptor and Consequence
This event was associated with flooding in the Cumbrian city of Carlisle (Zong and Tooley, 2003). Carlisle lies at the confluence of the rivers Eden, Caldew and Petteril where there is tidal influence, although is mostly associated with non-coastal flooding.
