This event was associated with southwesterly gales gusting to gale force pushing the water up flooding Southampton, Mudeford, and Hedge End (Smith, 2011).

Receptor and Consequence
At Millbrook, some of main roads were under 3 feet of water. In several resorts, sea damaged moored boats and beach huts. Caravan park at Mudeford was under 1 foot of water (Ruocco, 2009). Weston Shore Road was also closed due to flooding (Smith, 2011).
