Receptor and Consequence
This event was associated with flooding along the south coast of England, including Sussex (Gottschalk, 1975; Hickey, 1997). This event was widely known as St. Elisabeth’s Flood 2, occurred 17 years after St. Elisabeth’s Flood 1. This event caused death and destruction in Zeeland and Holland (Brooks and Glasspoole, 1928).
