Receptor and Consequence
This event was associated with coastal flooding in Leith impacted harbour. Coastal flooding was also reported in Banff with ‘the low part of the town up to 5 or 6 feet of water in some of the streets’. Miltonhaven and Macduff harbour area were also flooded (Hickey, 1997).
