Sea broke through shingle bank (Akehurst, 2011).
Receptor and Consequence
Coastal flooding were reported from Lymington and Keyhaven. During this event, twenty feet of the toe of the cliff were washed away over 200 yards, 16 beach huts were damaged, and 150 telephones were left out of order at Barton-on-Sea and New Milton (Akehurst, 2011).
