This event listed high tides as the source of the flood in some areas in Hampshire. Water rose several inches reaching depths of up to 18 inches and when tides dropped water subsided quickly (Akehurst, 2011).

Receptor and Consequence
This event saw flooding up to 2 feet in depth of around 400 yards railway line near Sway causing trains to be delayed (Akehurst, 2011). Water was deep along Bournemouth-Lymington Road and along the bottom end of Manor Road. Areas of Milford on Sea were also flooded, much land were inundated.
