Notable flooding occurred in the Isle of Wight during this event with impacts observed at Newport, Yarmouth, and Gurnard, with impacts at the latter amongst the worst with holiday chalets inundated (Ruocco et al., 2011). Other impacted areas included Keyhaven and Lymington, with reports of damaged boats and quayside property.
