High tides combined with heavy rains led to widespread flooding in Hampshire (Akehurst, 2011).

Receptor and Consequence
At Lymington, Bridge house, Waterloo Road, and Lymington Quay were reportedly flooded (Akehurst, 2011). The Brockenhurst to Lyndhurst Road was flooded at Balmer Lawn. Acres of land behind Moores Garage at Milford-on-Sea was flooded as well as the lake between Bar Tree Restaurant and the foot of Victoria Hill. Water a foot deep covered the ground 100 yards south of Keyhaven yacht club.
