Receptor and Consequence
14th October 1976 was associated with coastal flooding in Torquay, Devon (Zong and Tooley, 2003). 15th October 1976 was associated with flooding at Chiswell, Isle of Portland (West, 2014). The island was cut off from the mainland once the adjoining road became inundated.
