High tides and winds caused flooding in Hampshire and Isle of Wight (Akehurst, 2011).
Pathway
Sea breached defences at St Helens, Durer (Akehurst, 2011).
Receptor and Consequence
Road between Thorn Cross and Sutton was impassable as it flooded to 3 feet. Bridge Road, Yarmouth was under 2 feet of water and Steephill Road in Ventnor was flooded to 18 inches. The Strand, Ryde was also flooded (Akehurst, 2011).
