This event was associated with coastal flooding along parts of the east coast of the UK, most notably in Whitby, around the Humber Estuary, and in Norfolk (Haigh et al. 2015). Impacts included flooding of non-residential properties in Scarborough, and several breaches to defences around the Norfolk coastline.
