Receptor and Consequence
This event was associated with reportedly severe flooding in some areas of Northern Ireland, where a fisherman was swept out to sea (Haigh et al. 2015). There was also localised coastal flooding in parts of Devon and Cornwall. Across the southwest of the UK, roads were closed and thousands were without power.
